This episode is somewhat of a follow up to a previous episode regarding the importance of resistance training. Over the past few weeks I have been doing research and looking to get expert opinions on the subject. Fortunately, one of those experts agreed to join the podcast to help inform all of you. His journey into fitness started a very skinny kid at age 13 where he started lifting weights at home, doing whatever exercises he could learn in bodybuilding magazines or mail-order courses. Next came high school wrestling, where he got me hooked on studying human performance, sports medicine, and how to get strong. Along the way he has been a collegiate and NFL strength and conditioning coach for the Tampa Bay Bucs and Jacksonville Jaguars and he has been studying, practicing, and teaching these things ever since, and today he is going to speak to us about that journey. He has studied under some of the top strength training experts in the world, experimented with countless training methods, and come up with a training program that increases strength and muscle mass safely, with minimal time spent in the gym. His goal is to share these techniques with us to eliminate lack of strength as an excuse for not doing whatever it is you want in life.
